The last ruler of a united Spain and the Holy Roman Empire, he fought France to conquer the New World. A devout Catholic, Charles supported the Church and signed the Peace of Ausburg. Impressive vellum document, in Latin, nicely signed by Charles V. In fine condition, with expected document folds, a touch of light toning and intact seal.
