Highly desirable invitation and ticket for the Statue of Liberty dedication ceremonies on October 28, 1886. Includes: an engraved 7.5 x 5.5 invitation by Tiffany & Co. for "the inauguration by the President of the United States, of the Statue of Liberty Enlightening the World on Bedloe's Island, New York Harbor, on Thursday, October 28th, 1886," featuring a great image of the iconic statue; and a red 4.75 x 2.75 ticket for "steamboat and admission to the island and ramparts" featuring the facsimile signature of Richard Butler. Nicely corner-mounted, matted, and framed together under UV-protective museum glass to an overall size of 19.5 x 21.75. In very good to fine condition, with edge toning to the invitation, and a crease to the upper right corner of the ticket.
