Two signed books: a first edition of The Vantage Point, hardcover with dust jacket, signed in fountain pen by Lyndon B. Johnson on a bookplate affixed to the half-title page; and a first edition of A White House Diary, hardcover with dust jacket, signed and inscribed on the half-title page in blue ballpoint, "For Dr. Carlton Britton—who will find in these pages some of the reason for my delight in the flora and fauna of the Hill Country! Thank you—Lady Bird Johnson." In overall very good to fine condition, with wear to both dust jackets, including an old tape-repaired tear to the Lady Bird jacket.
