Certificate for 5 shares of stock in the American Express Company issued to William Kemble of New York, signed at the conclusion by Wells as president of the company, J. C. Fargo as secretary, and countersigned by Alex Holland as treasurer. Double-matted with a Wells, Fargo & Co's Express certificate, an enameled company pin, and an engraved plaque errantly citing that William Fargo signed the document, to an overall size of 16.75 x 26. In fine condition.
