Scarce original “War Is Over” advertisement from John Lennon and Yoko Ono that ran in the Sunday issue of The New York Times on December 21, 1969. The advertisement measures 15 x 22.5 and features a simple Xmas message in bold text: “War Is Over! If You Want It, Happy Christmas from John & Yoko Lennon.” The advertisement has been professionally restored and affixed to a 16.75 x 24.25 canvas backing. Rolled and in fine condition, with small tape stains to the top and bottom edges.
