Original set of five preliminary draft designs by noted rock artist Rick Griffin for the front and back CD covers of the Jefferson Airplane compilation album 2400 Fulton Street, accomplished in graphite and colored felt tip on sheets of tracing paper ranging in size from 14.5 x 9.75 to 19 x 24, with four dedicated to the psychedelic archway front cover (two sheets taped together), and one created for the back cover, with mirrored text encircling the central frame. An appealing 22 song titles of their greatest hits are artistically rendered in visually stunning manner. In overall very good to fine condition, with some creasing and intersecting folds. Accompanied by a vinyl copy of 2400 Fulton Street, with the records included. Provenance: Julien's Auctions, December 2013. Originates from the estate of Rick Griffin.
