Description


Desirable official NASA contractor report (NASA CR-1106) entitled “Project Gemini: A Technical Summary,” 343 pages, 8 x 10.5, June 1968, prepared by McDonnell Douglas Corporation for the Manned Spacecraft Center, signed on the front cover in ballpoint and felt tip by six astronauts from the Gemini program, including: “Gordon Cooper, Gemini V,” “Wally Schirra, GT-6,” “Tom Stafford, Gemini 6 and 9,” “Richard Gordon, GT-11,” “Dave Scott, GT-8,” and “Charles Conrad, Jr., GT-5 & 11.” The report contains sections for the following: "Communication and Tracking System," "Rendezvous Radar System," “Time Reference System,” “Instrumentation and Recording System,” “Guidance and Control System,” “Propulsion Systems,” “Environmental Control Systems,” and "Target Docking Adapter and Augmented Target Adapter," with included detailed diagrams relative to the Agena target vehicle. The front cover is marked in the upper right: “DDMS.” In fine condition, with light sunning to the spine.
