Invitation for Alexander McQueen's fashion show, ‘La Dame Bleue,’ presented at Palais Omniports Paris Bercy in Paris on October 5, 2007, as part of the designer’s Spring/Summer 2008 collection. The invitation, 8.25″ x 5.75″, features white text against a blue background that lists event, venue, and contact information, with the upper right bearing an affixed label marked “Alice Smith.” In very good to fine condition, with a central vertical fold and light creasing. McQueen joined forces with longtime collaborator Philip Treacy to deliver a collection in tribute to stylist Isabella Blow, who had died that previous May; Blow had been instrumental in the early stages of both their careers.
