Description

Staple-bound NASA booklet entitled “Apollo 14 Technical Crew Debriefing (U),” 369 pages, 8 x 10.5, dated February 17, 1971. The front cover is marked “138” in the upper right corner and is issued as “Group 4, Downgraded at 3-year intervals; declassified after 12 years.” The booklet contains post-landing statements made by Alan Shepard, Edgar Mitchell, and Stuart A. Roosa in regard to various aspects of the Apollo 14 mission. The booklet contains 27 sections, which are titled as follows: “Suiting and Ingress,” “Status Checks and Countdown,” “Powered Flight,” “Earth Orbit and Systems Checkout,” “TLI Through S-IVB Closeout,” “Translunar Coast,” “LOI, DOI, and Lunar Module Activation,” “Lunar Module Checkout Through Separation,” “PDI Through Touchdown,” “Lunar Surface,” “CSM Circumlunar Operations,” “Liftoff, Rendezvous, and Docking,” “Lunar Module Jettison Through TEI,” “Transearth Coast,” “Entry,” “Landing and Recovery,” “Command Module Systems Operations,” “Lunar Module Systems Operations,” “Flight Data File,” “Flight Equipment,” “EMU Systems,” “Visual Sightings,” “Premission Planning,” “Mission Control,” “Training,” “Human Factors,” and “Miscellaneous.” The inner pages and front and back covers are all marked “Confidential.” In very good to fine condition, with wear to edges and a crease to the front cover, which also bears a small hole and tear to left edge.
