DS, signed "J. D. Rockefeller" and "H. M. Flagler," one page, 15.25 x 7.75, April 5, 1882. Stock certificate for 14,060 shares in the Standard Oil Trust issued to H. H. Rogers, signed at the conclusion by Rockefeller as president, Flagler as secretary, and Jabez A. Bostwick as treasurer, with Rogers signing on the reverse. Receipt remains affixed to left edge. In fine condition. Henry Huttleston Rogers (1840-1909) was an American industrialist and financier who made his fortune in the oil refining business, becoming a leader at Standard Oil. An exceptional association piece signed by a triumvirate of Standard Oil bigwigs.
