Neatly penned letter to Fred de Cordova and his wife, in full: "How did you knew that I wear a 16 1/2 size collar for my shirt? I'm the admiration and envy of the beautiful people of the Marbella Club…Thank you my darlings! And to you Freddy—my devotion, love and gratitude forever for your kind, warm and so special speech…When I think about it now—, I'm moved, I feel big, I feel important but mostly proud that in one's life one can have a friend like you…and, that I was responsible to create and deserve thoughts and words you so generously said on my birthday.
