German bodybuilder and showman (1867-1925) who helped pioneer the sport of bodybuilding and, in 1901, organized what is believed to be the world's first major body building competition. The winner of the Mr. Olympia competition is awarded with a bronze statue of Sandow. Vintage fountain pen signature, "Eugen Sandow,” on an off-white 3.5 x 2 card, double-matted and framed with a portrait of the strongman to an overall size of 10 x 12. In fine condition.
