Description

Legendary boxer (1863-1917) who accrued world championships in three weight classes—the middleweight title in 1891, the heavyweight title in 1897, and the light-heavyweight title in 1903. Vintage ink signature, "Please Pass (4) four, Bob Fitzsimmons,” on an off-white 4 x 2.5 card, stamped "Kernan's Lyceum Theater, May 22, 1897." In very good to fine condition, with light creasing and soiling. Encapsulated in a PSA/DNA authentication holder. From the collection of Stephen Adamson.
