Flight Data File Container (FDFC) from the Space Shuttle program, 11″ x 12″ x 3″, with front pocket featuring a Boeing Aerospace Operations tag marked: “Item Flight Data File Container, Part No. 10125-10025-06, Serial No. N/A, Size N/A, Code ID 81205, MFG. 7/91, Contract No. NAS9-17540,” and struck through and annotated in red ink, “CEE” and “Class III.” The FDFC was attached to the side of a seat on the flight deck and they were designed to hold various Flight Data Files for the mission, such as ascent, entry, orbit, and EVA checklists, as well as flight and rendezvous plans. Back side is marked in black felt tip, “Boeing FEPC, CEE Lab,” and bears Velcro straps and metallic holders. The consignor notes that this Class III training item was purchased as NASA surplus. In fine condition, with scattered stains.
