Very Lightweight Headset (VLHS) unit flown on STS-122, identified by a label on the cable, "VLHS S/N 5903, SED16101291-313." These headsets were used on the Space Shuttle, and International Space Station. They utilize a thin metal headband. Crew members have the option of adding a foam ear pad if desired. The pad would probably have been discarded post flight, and is not included. In very fine condition. Accompanied by an anti-static bag for storage, bearing an affixed label noting an acquisition cost of $195.50. Includes a copy of the NASA disposal record listing this headset as flown on STS-122.
