You will be interested to know that the work of the school is progressing nicely, and that we have a full school of bright and promising young men and women." In fine condition, with light toning, and a small crease to the upper right corner. The recipient, Franklin Carter (1837-1919), was an American professor of Germanic and romance languages and served as President of Williams College from 1881 to 1901.
