Picturing the 1955 Philadelphia Phillies, this is one of the six team cards in the 1956 Topps set (out of sixteen total) that comes in three variations: dated 1955, team name centered, and team name left-justified. The dated cards are considered most desirable, followed by the team name left, then team name centered. The team portrait is highlighted by Hall of Famers Richie Ashburn and Robin Roberts. One of the few PSA NM-MT 8 cards offered as part of this set registry auction, it is still difficult to beat: only eleven have been graded higher.
