I believe this promo was originally included in the Gem press kit." According to the website's blog, which discusses the offered signed promo: 'The accompanying card promo…was part of the extensive GEM press kit for the release of Hunky Dory—RCA's first album. When it was first released, it was bought by pockets of his fans, mainly in the London and Kent areas and people who remembered him from his success with Space Oddity—in other words, limited sales upon release.
