I will modify the expression which you point out. But, would you please send me the proofs in duplicate as soon as possible. I need to look them over very carefully, and I will keep a copy for my volume, which I will be able to have printed immediately. A thousand thanks!" A postscript: "I will send you the autograph you request." In fine condition, with light creasing.
