With a career spanning over five decades, Florence Vandamm, who opened her first studio in 1908, was one of the most prolific and widely published female commercial photographers of the early 20th century. A sensational early portrait of Hepburn as an emerging Broadway talent—quite possibly the finest example we've ever offered.
