TLS, one page, 6.75 x 8.75, White House letterhead, August 13, 1962. Letter to Fredric R. Mann, City Representative and Director of Commerce of Philadelphia, in full: "I am deeply grateful to you, and those who you represent, in arranging for me to receive the American Flag and streamer that were displayed at the Fourth of July celebration in Philadelphia. These items, as well as your kind accompanying letter, were very much appreciated and will be reserved for a future museum collection." Kennedy strikes through "Mr. Mann" and writes "Fred," and also writes "Many thanks" at the conclusion. In very good to fine condition, with light creasing, a tiny tear to the bottom edge, and a block of toning from prior display.
