Although Buckingham and Nicks had broken up shortly beforehand, when the Leibovitz photo shoot had wrapped and their bandmates departed, Buckingham later explained that he and Nicks remained on the bed for several minutes longer, ‘After all that we'd been through, knowing that we loved each other—somehow, we just couldn't get up.’ Deriving from their highly successful Rumours period, this is a warm and enduring depiction of a band well-known for its interpersonal dramas.
