Three signed books: Real Peace: A Strategy for the West. First edition, first printing. NY: Privately printed, 1983. Hardcover with dust jacket, 5.75 x 8.5, 106 pages. Each signed on the first free end page in felt tip by Richard Nixon, with one inscribed in another hand, "To Jim Hayes, without whom there can be no real peace." In overall very good to fine condition, with creasing and tears to the dust jackets. Nixon self-published one thousand copies of this book in September 1983, sending them to a 'select group of government officials and opinion leaders.' The book was then picked up and published in a trade edition by Little, Brown and Company in 1984.
