Signed on the title page in black felt tip, "Bret Easton Ellis." In fine condition, with a minor scuff to the bottom textblock edge. A desirable copy signed on the title page with a fine unclipped dust jacket, released when Ellis was 21 years old and still a student at Bennington College. It was turned into a 1987 movie starring Robert Downey, Jr., Andrew McCarthy, Jami Gertz, and James Spader; a then-unkown Brad Pitt appeared as an extra.
