Partly-printed vellum DS as president, signed “J. Q. Adams,” one page, 15.75 x 9.5, January 3, 1828. President Adams grants James Goodwine a parcel at "Crawfordsville, Indiana, Containing Eighty acres." Signed at the conclusion by President Adams and countersigned by Commissioner of the General Land Office George Graham. The white paper seal affixed to the lower left corner remains fully intact. In fine condition, with all of the handwriting light but legible.
