Three items: a brief TLS signed "Carl Sagan," one page, 5. x 8.5, Cornell University letterhead, May 2, 1994, expressing thanks for a "most kind letter"; a 6.5 x 3.5 FDC with a cachet of Albert Einstein, postmarked at Princeton, New Jersey on March 4, 1979, signed in black ink, "Carl Sagan"; and an invitation for a "Close Encounter with Dr. Carl Sagan" at the Arizona Biltmore on April 7, 1994, measuring 5.75 x 17.25 unfolded, signed and inscribed on the front in black ink, "To Ken, with best wishes, Carl Sagan." In overall fine condition, with staples holes to the upper left corner of the letter. Accompanied by two original mailing envelopes.
