Green-and-white knitted V-neck sweater personally-owned and -worn by Cheap Trick guitarist Rick Nielsen. The sweater, no size but likely large, features two lower front pockets, with sleeves and front and back sections featuring several Cheap Trick logos and music symbols; collar area bears a Sally's Own label. Included with the sweater is a handwritten letter of authenticity from Nielsen on Cheap Trick stationery, which reads, in full: "11-15-84, Yeah-yeah-yeah, This was my green thing, Rick Nielsen," who adds a small self-portrait sketch. In fine condition, with expected wear from use, including a small hole to back right shoulder. An appealing and festive sweater owned and worn by the eclectic Nielsen—a must-have for the discerning Cheap Trick disciple.
