Partly-printed DS, signed “Sam Giancana,” one page, 6 x 4, January 9, 1975. Power of attorney document by which Giancana authorizes Anthony V. Champagne as his attorney, in association with an account at the St. Paul Federal Savings and Loan Association. Signed at the conclusion in ballpoint by Giancana, and countersigned by Champagne; a second attorney's name and signature have been obliterated with white-out. Giancana would be killed just six months later, leaving behind a massive fortune. In fine condition. Provenance: Lot 1181, Leslie Hindman Auctioneers, October 22, 1992.
