Leithead, president of the Clueitt, Peabody and Company, in part: "I am planning to have another of my occasional informal stag dinners on the evening of Monday, May sixth. I hope to gather together a small group, and I should like very much for you to attend…As usual, I suggest that we meet at the White House at 7:15, have a reasonably early dinner, and devote the evening to a general chat…I shall probably wear black tie, but business suit will be entirely appropriate."
