Kern, in part: "I fully appreciate your consideration in offering the pages…for my use in expressing my view I may desire to make public concerning our financial situation and perils. I am not absolutely certain that I see my path of duty in this matter, but I am not inclined at this time to publicly discuss the subject in the manner you suggest." In fine condition, with two tiny tape stains to the top of the second page.
