Partly-printed vellum DS, signed “William R.,” one page, 15.75 x 12, June 14, 1834. King William appoints James Henry Leckie as a "Captain of a Company in Our Thirty-ninth Regiment of Foot." Signed prominently in the upper left corner by King William IV, with original paper seal affixed immediately below and partially lain over bottom of first name. In very good to fine condition, with some light staining to the upper right, and light toning along the intersecting folds.
