TLS signed “William A. Anders,” one page, 8 x 10.5, NASA letterhead, October 8, 1964. Letter to Ken Browne, in part: "I think all of our group thoroughly enjoy the work of being astronauts. We thrive on the challenges confronting us and eagerly await the opportunity to share in solving the many mysteries which have baffled man for thousands and thousands of years." Anders adds a postscript in his own hand: "I hail from La Mesa, Calif. & have passed thru Ariz. many times by auto and aircraft (Williams AFB) so I know what a nice state you have—." In very good to fine condition, with tears to the right edge and upper right corner repaired with clear tape on the reverse. Accompanied by the original NASA mailing envelope.
