Letter to Mr. and Mrs. Ken Browne, in part: "Thank you very much for the two pictures which you took graduation day at Williams Air Force Base. I apologize for not acknowledging their receipt earlier; however, the press of business here and the death of my father have left many things undone…The one word from my work in Houston has been busy and prospects are that it will continue to be so. We have just finished some course work and are now progressing on to more specialized tasks. I am looking forward to fairly frequent visits to Arizona, particularly to Flagstaff, in connection with work being done there by the U.S. Geological Survey. The entire Scientist Astronaut group, including Joe Kerwin and Curt Michel, are now in Houston." In very good to fine condition, with staple holes to the upper left corner, and some light toning. Accompanied by the original NASA mailing envelope.
