Accompanied by a letter of transmittal from Armstrong's secretary, Geneva Barnes, dated March 13, 1972, which reads: "Mr. Armstrong has discontinued signing all philatelic items because of their widespread commercial use. Since you are interested in obtaining his autograph, we are enclosing a small card which he has signed."
