Black-bordered sympathy card, 5.25 x 3.75, sent out by Robert and Ethel Kennedy to well-wishers on the death of President John F. Kennedy, signed and inscribed in the lower left corner: "Dear Tom, My thanks to you, Bob Kennedy." Also included is a black-bordered memorial card for the funeral service of John F. Kennedy, and a gold-tone tie clip of the Kennedy PT-109, a patrol torpedo boat last commanded by Lieutenant John F. Kennedy in the Pacific Theater during World War II. In overall very fine condition. These tie clips were originally used to promote Kennedy's 1960 presidential campaign, and were later distributed to well-wishers by the family after JFK's assassination.
