DeMille's epic 1956 religious film The Ten Commandments, totaling nearly 400 pages, with sections broken up by dividers identifying the "Sequence," many dated April 27, 1955. Sequences portrayed include the "Valley Pasture & Mt. Sinai," "The Burning Bush," "Palace Hall of Audience—Per Ramses," "The Exodus," "Defile & Red Sea," "The Chariot Assembly," "The Edge of the Nile," "The Bathing Pavilion," "Construction Area," and "Brick Pits." The fascinating pages include notes (the vast majority inherent to the images, with some very sparse handwritten notes), concerning the location of the shot, description, camera to be used, and special effects needed for the scene.
