According to the Zionist ideal, Jews would dedicate themselves to working with their hands and developing the land through agriculture. For people in the intellectual fields, a way had to be found to utilize their talents for the benefit of the state. Suede-matted and framed with a portrait and plaque to an overall size of 19.75 x 23.5. In fine condition.
