Desirable original 2.25 x 4 carte-de-visite portrait of Mary Todd Lincoln from circa early 1860s, showing her wearing a floral wreath on her head and a three-piece Tiffany jewelry ensemble, elements that she also donned for Abraham Lincoln's inauguration as president in 1861. Reverse is stamped: "Mrs. Lincoln, Published by J. O'Kane, 126 Nassau Street, New-York." In fine condition, with light soiling and slightly clipped corners.
