National League uniform player’s contract in which Gil Hodges agrees to render "skilled services as a baseball player during the year 1949" for the Brooklyn Dodgers, for a salary of $8,250. Signed at the conclusion in fountain pen by Hodges. In fine condition. "Skilled services" he did render as he played all 156 games at first base for the Bums en route to a World Series appearance that fall. Accompanied by a full letter of authenticity from PSA/DNA.
