National League uniform player's contract in which Joe Medwick agrees to render "skilled service as a baseball player in connection with all games of the Club during the year 1936" for the St. Louis Cardinals, for an aggregate salary of $10,000 per season. Signed at the conclusion in fountain pen by Medwick and countersigned by Cardinals Vice President Branch Rickey. In fine condition. Medwick's fifth season in the league was a dandy—leading the NL in hits, doubles, and RBI with a .351 batting average! Accompanied by a full letter of authenticity from PSA/DNA.
