Elvis Presley's green leather-bound Holy Bible from Gideons International, hardcover, 1291 pages, 5.5 x 8, with lower right corner of first page annotated in pencil, “Elvis 1977.” In fine condition, with a small tear to bottom of spine. Accompanied by a statement of authenticity from the Elvis Museum and Mike Moon, who affirms that on “September 14th, 1980, I attended the auction at 1174 Hillcrest Road, Beverly Hills, California [Don B. Smith] and purchased many items for display in the Elvis Museums. The items included assorted hardcover and paperback books. These items have been on display at the Elvis Museums for over 30 years.” Also includes a copy of a bill of sale from the referenced auction, conferring ownership of numerous items to Moon, of which this Bible is included with a highlighted lot of “3 hard cover books.”
