Magnificent pearl-finish 7.25 x 9.25 photo of Wright deep in thought, boldly signed and inscribed in fountain pen, "To Phil—From Frank at 77—with a hope, Taliesin, Aug. 18 46." Double-matted and framed to an overall size of 16 x 18. In fine condition. Taliesin was Wright's famed home and studio in Wisconsin, which he designed and built in 1911. A scarce and absolutely spectacular signed portrait of the architectural master.
