Original unsigned hardcover 1955 Westerner yearbook from Buddy Holly’s senior year at Lubbock High School in Lubbock, Texas, 8 x 10.75, 328 pages. Holly’s senior class portrait is on page 69, and on page 196 he’s pictured as vice-president of the Vocational Industrial Club. Also pictured in the yearbook is his performing partner Bob Montgomery, Holly's high school sweetheart Echo McGuire, and future Crickets drummer Jerry Allison. The book bears multiple signatures and inscriptions to the original owner. The book also features advertisements for B.E. Adair Music Co., Radio Station KDAV, the Hi-D-Ho Drive In, and numerous other Lubbock establishments associated with Holly's formative years. In fine condition.
