Vintage pearl-finish 8 x 10 CBS publicity photo of Waller sitting at a piano and smiling into a microphone, signed in fountain pen, "Best wishes, Thomas 'Fats' Waller." Collector's notations on the reverse indicate that the signature was obtained at the Loew's State Theater in New York City on January 9, 1937. In very good to fine condition, with tack holes to the borders, some light creases, and a heavier vertical crease to the bottom.
