Original 1966 Topps Superman Cards wax box with twenty-four unopened packs of ten cards each. The bright red box boldly advertises "Superman Cards 5¢" on the top cover and sides, with yellow back panel reading: “Don’t miss Superman on T.V. / see each exciting episode.” Superman actor George Reeves is pictured on the box as both the ‘Man of Steel’ and as Clark Kent, with lower left of cover featuring a reminder: "Watch Superman on T.V." Each of the 24 still-sealed wax packs is encapsulated in a plastic Global Authentics authentication and grading holder, with each pack evaluated as “NM-MT 8.” Bottom of box is stamped: "Jack's." The box is in very good to fine condition, with scattered bends and creases. Amazingly, this rare Superman set was released seven years after the hit show stopped making original episodes in 1958.
