(Paramount, 1957) Wonderful original costume design sketch by Edith Head for Vera Miles's role as Betty Compton in the biographical drama Beau James, accomplished in gouache and graphite on an off-white 13.75 x 16.75 sheet, tilted in the upper left in pencil, "Vera Miles in Beau James," and signed in the lower right, "Edith Head." The sketch shows Miles in a lovely polka-dot dress, holding an elegant parasol. In fine condition, with three tack holes to edges.
