Fantastic group of 23 mostly pencil signatures from members of the 1935 New York Yankees on an off-white 6 x 9.25 sheet of stationery from The Shoreham in Washington, DC, including: Lou Gehrig, Tony Lazzeri, Lefty Gomez, Red Ruffing, Joe McCarthy, Joe Sewell, Bill Dickey, Johnny Murphy, Frank Crosetti, Pat Malone, Art Jorgens, Vito Tamulis, Red Rolfe, Dixie Walker, Myril Hoag, Johnny Broaca, Jack Saltzgaver, George Selkirk, Jumbo Brown, Jimmie DeShong, Doc Painter, Joe Glenn, and one other. In very good condition, with light overall creasing and intersecting folds. Accompanied by a full letter of authenticity from PSA/DNA. The consignor notes that these autographs were obtained in person at the Shoreham Hotel in Washington, D.C., by a young boy in 1935. A fantastic assemblage from a notable mid-30s Bronx Bombers club, headlined by seven Hall of Famers.
