Original vintage color 8 x 10 three-quarter-length photo of Prince taken by Nancy Bundt during a public dress rehearsal prior to the Purple Rain Tour at Bogart's in Cincinnati on September 23, 1984. Prince is shown wearing a paisley outfit and kneeling onstage during a performance, with his curled hair falling over his right eye. A different pose from this same show was used in the Purple Rain tour program. Reverse bears “This paper manufactured by Kodak" watermarks. In very fine condition. The consignor notes that he personally obtained this from Alan Leeds, Prince's longtime tour manager. Nancy Bundt took many of Prince's photographs during the late 1983-late 1984 period, including many of the photos in the Purple Rain tour program and the cover image for the 1985 home video release of 'Prince and the Revolution Live!' Given the source of this photograph, it may have been looked at by Prince himself.
