Uncommon glossy 8.25 x 10 full-length photo of President Eisenhower taking a tee shot at the Quantico Marine Base, signed in fountain pen. Reverse bears a Harris & Ewing copyright stamp, as well as a receipt stamp from the Washington Post Library, dated July 27, 1953. Included is a Harris & Ewing caption sheet, which entitles the picture 'Fore,' and states that Eisenhower was trying out the golf course after meeting with top military and Defense Dept. leaders earlier that day. In very good condition, with scattered creasing, and three somewhat heavier horizontal creases across the image.
