Two gorgeous celestial prints by famed cosmonaut and artist Alexei Leonov: a color limited edition 32 x 23 print of a painting entitled ‘The Ashy Layer,’ depicting a mirage-like image of the moon in the Earth’s atmosphere, caused by an ‘ashy layer’ that refracts the moon’s light as it passes through, numbered “235/500,” and signed in the lower border in pencil; and a color limited edition 32 x 23 print of a painting entitled ‘Cyclone Over Singapore,’ showing a cyclone over Malaysia that was seen by Leonov during the evening of the Apollo-Soyuz linkup in 1975, numbered “33/1000,” and signed in the lower border in pencil.
